I consider myself a person who has been blessed by life. Although I’ve never been alone and am an organized person, my early thirties were marked by financial challenges.
A single parent of a boy just a few months old, I found myself faced with difficult financial choices. This situation created stress and shame, and the last people I wanted to discuss it with were my family and friends.
I needed to be able to turn to a trusted professional who would listen, explain, and guide me toward solutions tailored to my current and especially future situation.
I was 32 years old and realized that no one at my long-standing financial institution really knew me or ever asked, “Marie-Cine, what’s your financial game plan? Would you want to team up on that?”
After that day, I knew I wanted to help turn things around. To talk about finances differently. In my forties, I took the leap and became a Financial Security Advisor.
I take this role seriously and made it my duty to be the resource person I would have wanted when I was just starting out as a young adult.
Financial planning is a continuous process, and regularly reevaluating your goals and financial situation is essential to ensure that your plan remains aligned with your aspirations. By working together, we can adjust your strategy in line with the changes in your life, your priorities, and economic conditions.
